C2- '67 grill

One of the last 'clean-up' items for my L-79 is the grill. It's the original grill, and I'm wondering if it can be 'cleaned-up', or am I better off with buying a new one, repro or otherwise?

I plan to get to this this winter.

You have been driving your 67 a long time, since new! I think I have seen on this board that your 67's grille was still available from GM until a few years ago. Good luck on finding a new one.

The grilles are available at most big and small Corvette parts distributors for around $400.00 plus shipping. They are GM originals not to be confused with repos or Tiawan originals. If you can't find one at your favorite vendor, e-mail me. I might have one on the shelf.
