    C2 1967 cut wiring

When I removed the glovebox on my 67 L79 car I found 3 wires in a taped bundle (just to the left of my trim code tag) had been cut: yellow, blue, and orange. Can someone send me a picture of where these go. Do they go to a connector, where does it plug into? Are these my blower control wires? I checked my fan switch in the dash (lo-med-high) and all the wires there appear to be plugged in, however I only have "high" on my fan operation itself so I suspect all this is related. Oh yes, the car does have factory AC. Anybody want to come to the UK and have a wiring tech session? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...Jim Blakely # 3742

I believe if you look at the C-60 section of the AIM, page E-8, it is likely that those are the heater control leads for the non-AC cars. They are not used because of the seperate AC wirinhg harness and they are generaly taped back out of the way. They are supposed to be clipped, per the AIM instructions.

      Bill,

Thanks. I just hate to see cut wires as I can visualize my "baby" going up in smoke like some of my "stocks" did. Jim Blakely
