Two questions on rocker panels, please.
Is there any obvious, or not so obvious, way to determine the difference(s) between the originals and the repops?
Did the 4 retainer pieces replace the single 3 1/2 ft retainer as a result of a Chevy change, or for ease/cost of reproducing? My late 62 has the single long moulding retainers as shown in the AIM, but I don't see anyone reproducing these puppies. I guess I can understand this approach, since the single, long ones are good breeding grounds for rust.
