Need source: non-ribbed 5/8 heater hose w/ GM logo

    Hi,

The 66 TIM&JG says that the 5/8" heater hose should be non-ribbed, but with the GM and square logos. I've looked thru the Dr. Rebuild and Paragon catalogs and they only list ribbed heater hoses. Does anyone make the 5/8" hose without the ribs, but with the logos?

    Thanks,

    Gary

    Gary,
Paragon part #2000 is a 5/8" non-ribbed w/GM logo, it is not in a set, but a single hose that has molded ends. If you don't need the molded ends just cut them off, I've heard the hose is still long enough.

      Where is that part listed?

      Brian,

I've looked high and low in the Paragon catalog for that item, but I can't see it. Can you tell me what section it's in?

      Thanks,

      Gary

It's in their '68-'82 catalog, as it's listed for those usages; Paragon is the ONLY place you'll find non-ribbed GM-logoed 5/8" heater hose, which may have been created to satisfy the JG description - but I digress

            John,

Now that Paragon has split their catalogs into separate C2 and C3 catalogs, those of us with the current C2 catalog will never find item 2000 without checking their online catalog. Also missing from the latest C2 catalog, I believe, is the bolt chart that used to be in the back of the catalog. Oh well, so much for progress.
