Has anybody seen the 1965 corvette on e-bay #2441992248 ? Vin # 194675S121493, trim L665467 , 431BA , Body paint 900GG Motor casting # 355962, head # 3856208 left f-24-5, f-16-5 right Partial engine # E-25-5??? He is looking for $52,000. Does this sound like a fair deal?

I dunno, Mike; this guy's got one feedback, with 66.7% rating; refuses to communicate via email (ie. no record of what he says/claims).
Car seems nice -- you'll need to replace that radiator and that HUGE rear view mirror. The numbers he gave you appear OK to me (did he provide the S-body # ?). Always bugs me why the sellers don't include these numbers in the eBay ad. [again, in this case, unless you recorded the conversation, no written record]
For 50K, I'd want pics of the engine pad, confirmation of the trans, diff codes, a little history --- all via email. Personally, I'd probably want to visit the car. -

this car is 21493 built L6; My records show a 21481 built on the SAME day, L6; but they also show 21496, built after 21493 but with an AO SMITH body build date of K23.Comment

Thanks For the info. I did contact by phone , and now communicating via e-mail. I have asked for the complete eng. ser. # and trans, rear end ser# and date codes. If this is not an original engine car, but an original 396 car, what would be a fair value ?Comment
