Re: rcorter@gibralter.com
I don't specifically know of a service for reproducing original factory build sheets. When installed on the car, they can't be easily seen/verified for judging, so there's really no demand for the service. However, organizations like Triple A Enterprises (advertize in Driveline magazine's Services section) reproduce window stickers which are virtually identical to the factory build or broadcast sheets which were printed via Teletype on plain stock, pin feed, multi-part, carbon copy paper.
As far as dated components (like intake and starter), several of the Corvette Catalog parts houses (e.g. Paragon, Long Island, Chicago Corvette) do offer used/original and refurbished original parts and you'll find ads for such directly from other NCRS members listed in Driveline magazine. This discussion board isn't intended to be a forum for buying/selling parts....- Top

Re: rcorter@gibralter.com
Robin,
1963 Corvettes did not have a tank sticker! That was not started until later in the 60's production. It would not give you any points at a meet for having non original documentation on your 1963.
Hope this helps.

Re: rcorter@gibralter.com
Robin, I don't think 63s had tank sheets. From listening to those that know something about midyears, I think tank sheets started with the 67s. But, it sounds like you are doing your homework.
For a starter, try John Pirkle. John is an NCRS member, will understand your requirements, and provides quality parts from what I hear. John maintains a fairly large inventory of dated starters and alternators, and will likely have something dated close to your engine build date.
The aluminum manifold will probably be tougher...as Jack said, Paragon has a vintage (used) parts department that may have it; if they do, it will be expensive. You can shop the vendors at Carlisle...some specialize in restoring aluminum manifolds and other parts and may have something in inventory. You can also watch ebay, but good quality restoration parts have pretty much been replaced by trinkets. Watch the Driveline for a member selling a manifold. If you don't get in a rush, you can probably some money.
Your husband is a lucky Jarhead to have wife that buys him a Corvette. Congratulations to him on twenty-four years. Good luck with your Vette.- Top

Re: rcorter@gibralter.com
Not too long ago I ran across a website that sells repro tank stickers. I can't find it now but the options available were,
1. Repro tank sticker as new
2. Repro tank sticker aged
3. Repro tank sticker that has been glued on to a 1967 Corvette gas tank, aged and then peeled off.
I remember thinking at the time that the last option could lead to some questionable uses. If I find the site again I will post it.- Top
