Re: When are you "Upside down in a Corvette"?
The last time I was upside down in a corvette was the winter of '65. It was a 300hp Honduras Maroon '62. It actually was more like a 1 1/4 snap roll for you aerobatic pilots out there. Ended up on its side. I was the passenger, come to think of it, so was the guy behind the wheel. As my buddy says, "plastic cars and black ice...no good".

I meant to ask, how did you do it?
I know that many moons ago when we were in our twenties and had more brawn than brain, there were six of us lifting and one guiding, moving, and such when lifting a body off the frame, and it was heavy.
So did you have a bunch of guys lift and rotate and then set it down, or did you set it down, then roll it over on the ground?
I'd think rolling on the ground would create a lot of fiberglass bending in unnatural ways.- Top
