    Trim Tag '63

I want to replace the soft top on my '63. The trim code says 490D and the paint code says 923A. It has red paint, vinyl saddle interior and a beige soft top. I cannot decipher my reference books. Is there any way to tell if this combination of paint, interior and top is original? In your opinion, what color top would work best with this paint/interior combo? Thanks.

Pete, if I'm reading my info. correct.

The 490 is a vinyl interior, the D is for a red interior.

I have a beige soft top on my 63 and the only way I can tell that it is original color is from either the window sticker or the build sheet.

Trim codes for '63 were ALSO a running

change - you don't need to give an exact #, but a "thousand" range is necessary.
