What did the horn relay look like on the early Corvette? I remember them as Black bodied with an attachment flange. I remember that there were questions over the number of holes that should be in the attachment flange (2 vs. 3 holes?) How did they compare to passenger car relays? Where they the same? What year did they stop using them? Regards, Terry

Re: C1 Horn Relays
Terry,
The ones after 58 were 781 relays and came in two flanges, a 3 hole and a 5 hole. The flange was the same size and the # on the relay did not change, there were just two more holes betweeen the outer two holes. There are several for sale at any given time on Ebay. If it does not have the 781 stamped into the flange then it is not correct.

Re: C1 Horn Relays
I went to ebay and looked around a bit. I found one that is similar to some that I have. It is item number 2441661448 . Mine look the same except have a black body and only 3 holes. Any idea what they were used on? Thanks for your help. Thanks, Terry- Top
