Hello,

I have a pair of NOS grease caps in GM boxes marked 3775191 but the last digit on the box has been printed over with a 0 to read 3775190. Are these two numbers for different parts?

I can find no record, whatsoever, of GM #3775191 going back almost 50 years. So, it may have been a mis-print for the box that the "printer" corrected. Otherwise, it may have been a PRODUCTION-only part number that was mistakenly printed on the box and changed to a SERVICE-only part number. The GM #3775190 is a front wheel grease cap that was used from 1961. For Corvettes, it is applicable to 63-68 models. It was discontinued in December, 1974 and replaced by GM #539153.

I kind of thought it might be a mis-print but was not sure.
