Does anyone know if the two Cascade Greens used on Corvettes in 1957 and 1960 are the same color? If not, does anyone have the original paint codes for these colors? As always, thanks in advance for your help. Rex NCRS #8089

Re: Cascade Green
Rex,
Cascade Green of 56-57 is different from that in 1960, also the 1960 has some metalic in it.
The following is from a reprinted chart in the just published Solid Axle Corvette Club "On Solid Ground" magazine.
Codes for 56-7 Ditzler acrylic lacquer is DAL 41973, DuPont regular lacquer is 2416.
Code for 1960 Cascade Green Met. Acrylic Lacquers; DuPont Lucite (4029-L), R-M (A-1214), Ditzler (DDL 42693). Regular lacquer DuPont"Duce" (93997), R-M (1214).

I love 'em both
They are different. The early one is a pastel looking color, very typical of the late '50s era. This month's issue of Corvette Enthusiast (formerly Cars & Parts Corvette) has a great article and pictures of a '56 Cascade Green car.
The later ('60?) version is like a light green metallic.
