I bought an original 73 NOS owners manual off e-bay with the green card. I have 5or6 originals and 2 repo's for my cars. The new one was perfect just like you would buy from a vendor today but without the reprint on the back and the green card still installed. While on E-bay today I notice the vendor has another one for sale just like I bought and now I start thinking.. I pull out all my examples and the new one is real brite and is should I say to good to be true. If it is a copy when compared to originals which I have found three different covers the new one matches one of them perfect. I like the manual but are they being reproduced perfect in other years? Lyle,
Most likely you have a Helm, Inc service replacement. Helm made them for GM to be sold over the counter and many Corvette manuals had Corvette News cards. Look at the photography on a known original vs. the service piece. The original photography will be clearer.

You can check out what is available for all Corvettes at Helm Inc. Just use Google. My first product from Helm was the service manuals for my 64 Corvette that I ordered in 1968.

I don't believe they are still printing them today. I think they printed so many in the 70's and 80's that there still some around. With the advent of ebay anyone can find one now.
