I was checking my hand brake handle bracket on my Early 63 coupe, NCRS judging manual state on page 3 in the operation check that a "RED" light comes when the hand brakes are applied, on my brake bracket I don"t have any switch on it and never was one, Most of the supplers say they never seen one & never came with a switch, My Question is did early 63 coupe come with any switch on hand brake handle bracket. Yes, 63 has a switch and they all came with one, It is a 63 only switch and rather expensive to purchase a used one or a restored one. NO one makes a repro. that I know of. Sometimes they show up on Ebay. Try the swap meets at the shows. It took me 6 months to find one and I still paid close to $125.00. There is a picture and how to install in the 63 AIM.

Also, if you have option U69 (AM/FM Radio), you need to add a Capacitor. The original part number was 1960962. AIM page 334 or AIM section U69, section 7.00.

Try section 12, page B3.00. It's #5 on the items list.
