This winter I'm getting around to finishing off those 'little' things in my effort to re-hab my '67 L-79.
Two things:
1. Re-chroming the door handles.
2. Re-chroming the chrome side supports (hockey sticks?) on the seats.
Neither of these have ever been cleaned-up in any way. The door handles have their usual small scratches, and the 'hockey sticks' their usual tiny rust spot bleed-thru, but otherwise are in excellent shape.
Are there any issues surrounding doing this which would impact on its originality? Or is doing this a pretty much straight-forward process?
Thanks.
Tom
