I've used several of these systems. They work great! I have always installed an electric fan behind the radiator, inside the fan shroud. Most people never see the electric fan. I leave the factory mechanical fan and clutch installed. I assume that these parts are good and functioning properly. Get a good fan, not just a cheapee $5.00 one. I am sure the Vintage Air fan is fine. Mount is to the radiator with the zip ties provided. Make sure the fan is flush to the radiator. Don't forget to wire the system with a relay as the fan pulls a lot of juice when starting. If you have not upgraded that 37 amp alternator to a 60 amp or higher. Do so now.

This will help you cooling situation however it is not a cure all if your cooling system was not cooling properly BEFORE the A/C installation.
