My 67 Coupe currently has red carpeted floormats. What are the correct floormats for this car? Are they available NOS or who makes the best reproductions? Did not see any reference to floormats in judging manual.

Re: C2 Floormats
Dave, the correct floor mats for your '67 are made of clear plastic and have the Chev."bowtie" logo inside a circle located at the top center of the mat. They are available in repro at most of the large vendors for about $35. I have a set in my '67 coupe and they look good but, they yellow very easily if used without a covering like a paper mat. I don't believe that the clear mats were an RPO available from the factory.- Top

Re: C2 Floormats
Don is correct in describing the DEALER-INSTALLED floor mats for c-2's. Original dealer-installed mats are considerable less pliant than the repros. Both tend to yellow while the orig dealer installed types take on a more whitish-yellow discoloration than the repros. mike- Top

Re: C2 Floormats
if they were in the 66 when it left st louis, then yes they ought to be in the car juring judging but i'm not convinced they were anything other than a dealer installed option. Perhaps bills dealer threw them in as a "thank you" for dealing here. Recently bought a new chevy pickup , ordered it my self, went to pick it up and the boys in the shop were in the process of installing a bedliner when i arrived at the dealership. asked owner of chevy dealership whats going on, and he explained the liner was his way of thanking me for dealing with him. mike- Top
