In '72+ they switched to a small orange light stereo indicator (bulb is immediately behind lense).
In -'71 and back they used a worded "STEREO" (in greenish letters) as the stereo indicator but the optional stereos are somewhat less common back then compared to radios and I haven't seen one in a long while or a good image of one so I'm wondering if someone can help clarify this or point me to a good image? Is the "STEREO" indicator in the same spot (upper right corner next to "FM")? Is it backlit in a similar fashion w/ a rear bulb like the 72+? Or does the light reflect from the side or something onto the STEREO lettering?

While on the subject - any good recommendations on aftermarket replacement speakers (4x6 I think) for the originals? Most new stuff is fairly low ohm is why I ask.
thanks,
