A guy selling a 73 on E-Bay says he has the protec-o-plate for the car. Can this be true, or is this just pure BS.

I asked/inquired the seller if he was sure, and he is standing by his claim. No biggie, hey, it's E-bay.

Of course it can be true. I've bought numerous old cars thru the years that had there original p-o-p in the glove box.

Unless I missed something...POPs last use for Corvette was in 1972.

Not to my knowledge but others on the forum predate the warranty folder introduced in 1973 and may be in a position to shed further insights into the topic.

Of course, we can quickly assess if the eBay 73 POP car is even remotely legitmate by getting the VIN number and determine if its "early."
