67 TACHOMETER CABLE

The outer housing is original and in perfect condition, but I would like to replace the actual inner cable if it is available. It measures about 24".

Use a speedometer cable repair kit to fabricate the new cable, same thing.

Any AC Delco dealer can supply the inner cable and ends to fabricate new one. good luck, mike

I bought a speedo cable repair kit (inside wire) from NAPA for about $9.00 or so. They had a couple in various lengths in stock.

You insert the inner wound wire from the speedo side, seat it, cut the terminal end off to the proper length, and crimp on the drive end.
