Does anyone have a circa '58 Borg Warner 4 speed pulled out. I would like to know the length from the bellhousing face of the case to the end of the tailshaft. Thanks

I don't have one "pulled out" (or, even, still in place). However, I can tell you that the dimension you seek is 21-1/2". This is the dimension from the front of the main case to the end of the extension housing. This dimension is exactly the same for 63-70 Muncies and 57-69 3 speed manual transmissions, too.

Borg Warner Super T-10s and 71-74 Muncies are 3/4" longer.
