    Carb. Help!!

    Just found a Carter AFB # 3261S Date J2 on the shelf (forgot about it had it so long)Could someone tell me what it would fit.

    I can't find any reference, whatsoever, to a Carter AFB of #3261S. If that's the correct nummber, I'd have to say that it was used on a truck of some kind. As far as I can tell, it wasn't used on any GM, Chrysler, or Ford passenger car. If the number is actually 3361S, then it was used for 61-63 Chevrolet 409 cid engine applications. In any event, it's a 62-63 era carburetor.

      Joe, if my NCRS disease has not progressed too far, I believe it is fact a Mopar carb

        i have 13 pages of carter carbs numbers and i can not find a 3261, my list go from 3259 to the next one listed is 3266

                My car has a 3461s afb carter. could you be giving out the wrong number.

                  I have a '64 327/300 with a 3461S/CJ3. It is a Carter for a '63 340HP or very early '64 300HP.
