    1969 A.I.R. & A/C Systems

Hi, I completely restored the engine compartment on my '69 L46 w/ac. The smog system and the a/c system are the only things left to be installed. Previously there was no smog system on my car. Now that I have a restored smog system to put on. What goes on first the smog system or the a/c system? How was it done at the factory? Any help or "tips" in installing would be apprieciated. Thanks

    Re: 1969 A.I.R. & A/C Systems

    Bob:
Last spring I put the AIR system back on my base engine '69 with A/C and I know that it would have been much easeier to install the trees (metal tubes) without the A/C. Getting to the fittings under the compressor was very challenging. If I had a choice, I would do the A.I.R. first (at least the tubes).
    Hope this helps.
