    CI HEADLIGHT SWITCH

My 1961 headlight switch looks like it needs some help. I had bought my car two years ago and started to restore it. I did not drive it much before starting my restoration. I am not sure if the switch worked. It looks kind of funky. If they are able to be restored does anyone know of a good source? Thanks as always, Joe DeLuca #37862

    Joe,
I see NOS Delco 1995096s on Ebay quite often. They usally go for $35 to $45.
They can be had from the major venders but at twice the price of Ebay ones. I
    dont know anyone restoring them.

    Regards,

35 clams at Last Detail. I am sure that most vendors have them at about the same price

What is the # embossed(three digit) onto the ign switch main body? the #'s you have been supplied with will allow you to start and stop the ole 283 but they almost certainly won't pass a Performance verification if that's your intent.post the # and i'll re-reply. good luck.ike

Hi Joe, I just purchased a 60 vette and had to replace my lightswitch. I purchased a new one from Corvette America for about $24.00. It had the same knob and works fine. I don't know if this helps?
