I'm close to getting my '66 425hp 427 back on the road, but unfortunately don't have the factory original Holley. Been trying to get closer to a full restoration - just purchased the original fuel line set (3-piece w/Y block). Found that the male fittings at the carb end of the fuel lines are too small to fit my female Holley fittings on the inlet of each carb float bowl. Anyone know where I can go to purchase these "special" Holley adapter fittings? Corvette supply houses just seem to sell the entire carb, and I'd like to swap-shop before shelling out that much $ on a carb. For now, I'd really prefer just buying the two correct fittings. Any help would be very appreciated!

Re: '66 BB Holley Inlet Fittings
Rob --- You might try a specialty speed shop; they usually have a display with Holley shrink-pack parts. You're looking for a 5/8"-U.N.F. 2B Inverted Flare Fuel Inlet Fitting. The wrench "flats" may have minor variations (from stock original) for tightening the fitting into the bowl (after installing the sintered bronze filter and spring). These are not hard to find used at any carb repair shop or swap meet; many dual inlet or tri-power carb bowls (except '65 L78's) used them. Be cautioned that there are also some 1/2"-20 U.N.F inlet fittings out there as well. Check that your stock fuel lines should are 3/8" o.d., and that the male nut takes a 5/8" wrench.
I've never seen a fitting with too large a female opening for stock 427 Corvette fuel lines.- Top

Holley sells parts mail order
I've bought stock carburetor parts directly from Holley several times. It's not cheap, but at least the parts are new and available. Holley has a "Service Parts Order Form" which they will mail to you. Each order form contains an explosion view of a particular carburetor model and a price list. Inlet fittings cost $10.35 each plus shipping about ten years ago.
Holley can be phoned at (615) 859-4924. Their 1988 mailing address was:
Holley Replacement Parts Division, Technical Service Department, 601 Space Park North, South Cartwright Street, Goodletsville, TN, 37072
If you find out that their address and phone number have changed, please post the correct info for all to see.- Top

Re: Holley sells parts mail order
Holley's new tech support line is 502-781-9741. They no longer deal directly with the public, but will offer tech support and part no. information - you are then referred to one of their distributors. To reach your closest distributor, dial 800-465-5391. Better yet, check them out on the 'net at www.holley.com- Top
