I am in the process of restoring the rear suspension on my 67 and would like to send out the trailing arms, half shafts and diff. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to send them. I want the parts to be correct for judging. Thanks , Tom

Tom-----
The best choices are always the same: Van Steel in Clearwater, FL (www.vansteel.com); Bairs in Linesville, PA; Carter's Corvette in Livermore, CA. Make sure that you tell whoever you select of your interest in a complete "factory correct" restoration. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: c2 rear suspension
Tom, make sure you specify the finish(paint color, bare steel, etc.) you want on the various parts. Bair's will use stainless steel paint on many of the items which originally were semi-gloss black or unpainted unles you tell them otherwise.- Top

Re: c2 rear suspension
One difference in the way Bair's and Van Steele service a rear control arm spindle and disc is that Bair's rivets the disc to the spindle just like your 67 came from the factory if someone has drilled them out and Van Steele to my knowledge does not provide the rivetting service.- Top

Re: c2 rear suspension
Tom,
You may also want to give Mark at BAK Automotive a call. I purchased parts from him at Carlisle and he was a great guy to visit with. His rebuilt trailing arm assemblies also looked very nice. I believe that he advertises in Driveline.
Good luck,
