Need help with installing the main harness. When and how will I get power to the other harness?

AIM, available from the boys in cincy(mortimers, p. 3 , restorer) will outline wiring harness placement. Its not too clear-cut for the non-experienced. if you have AIM, review it, and still have questions, get back with us.mike

The engine and main dash connect at the fuse block.

Assuming battery is connected, when engine bay harness red gauge 12 (or gauge 10 for air cars) is connected to starter solenoid (along with +ve bat. conn.) there is power, via return from horn relay junction, to firewall multi-connector, which supplies power to ignition switch. From there, power feeds the main under-dash harness, which connects via a multi-connector to the rear wiring harness.

Minor variation for air cars, where blower motor, speed resistor, A/C relay, compressor clutch, and air controls on dash are fed from an additional wire on horn relay, and not from the ignition switch.
