    C1 Heads

What are #3836839 heads out of? They were in my 1956 and I know they are not correct Also does anyone have a photo of the double tower markings for a 1956 # 3731762 head that they could share? Thanks for your help.

GM #3836839 castings were used for some 1955 265 cid applications. Not Corvette, though.

Steve: the judging manual gives a pretty good ILLUSTRATION of the double tower heads common to the 56 non-base heads. pretty rare and pretty expensive heads as the 56 pass cars with 2 x 4 engines used the same head. expensive today because the shoe-box boys know they need the double tower heads if they're intent is to restore or re-create(counterfiet---clone) a 56 225 or 240 hp vette or pass car.
