What lubriation should be put in the bearing? When I got it apart the Lube was all dried up.

ST-12 Manuel calls for one to"pack the cavity with cup grease". I assume any good Gl-4 grease. I packed mine when I replaced the bearing with Mobil-1 synthetic grease.

Jerry,
I put a new double sealed bearing in them and leave any additional grease out.
With the sealed modern bearings that are made today, There is really no reason to ever lubricate them. Don't forget the foam rubber seal between the third arm and the mounting bracket, it keeps a lot of water out of the bearing.
