Bill This is how the original lighter looks, you can see the tabs that the ones that are E-bay don't have. Also they say 53 to 55. 53 to 54 are 6V and 55 12V as you know. The way to tell or ask is that a 6V lighter has %50 less heating coils as the 12V will fill the the end (coils). easy to tell if you can see them.Plus the original as you see clearly , you don't have to pull the retainer back to see the end.Hope this helps you.
