CAN'T REMEMBER WHERE THESE CLIPS GO

I have 5 clips, same shape as the one on the L hood latch for the washer hose, but about twice the size, rubber coated. Where do these go? (I'm about to put the body on the chassis and haven't needed them yet).

Rob,

Could those clips be the ones under the nose that hold the wiring harness out of the way of the headlights?

Just as shot in the dark as you have not said what year Vette we're talking about.

Don't know about "twice the size of the one for the washer hose", but there were six of the #3827371 vinyl-coated push-on clips used on 67's - one on the left hood latch for the washer hose, one on the left side front of the radiator support for the headlight harness, two to retain the antenna cable to the back side of the dash crossbar, and two to retain the courtesy light wires to the back side of the dash crossbar below the glove box.

I'm working on a '67 the wiring harness clips are already installed. However, the radiator support is not.

I have the ones you are referring to. These are actually twice the size of those. It's been awhile, but I can't believe I would taken the time to rubber-coat these if I didn't have originals to copy. Guess I'll either find out as I continue or have "extra" parts when I'm done.

Hi Rob,
There are 5 or 6 Rubber coated clips that hold the rear wiring harness up to the tail light studs.
Just a guess

Nope, they're in already....this are meant to cip on to the edge of something, like the one on the hood latch and the radiator support that holds a wire.

John, I know exactly which clips you are referring to, these are larger. It's been so long, I just can't remember exactly where they go.

Have you gone thru any of your supplier parts catologes and seen the same clips maybee you could determine that way.

Just guessing, but they sound like the retainers/c-clamps for the battery cable that ran under the drive shaft hump. I am uncertain of what year car you are working on though. Terry
