          Loren,

I have about 200 new front cases and if I'd known you needed one we could stamp you one. It makes Pirkle's birds curl their talons when I say that.

          Cheers,

          JR

Sounds like an E-Bay ad. Stamped to order originals.

              Re: Fakes & Restamps

              Brian,

Yeah, I got about 200 of the fronts but they have no Delco Remy logo on them. John Pirkle was quick to point that out to me. I inherited them from an old forger (John also said that).

              Regards,

              JR

Jo - did they by chance come from Tennessee? :-)

Got 2 cases off eBay, was going to bribe Loren,

but that strategy just collapsed. Oh well, who's got the best stamp fonts ? They came in the original orange and black boxes, part # 1959917, with DR-7528 Instruction Sheet, and have the Delco Remy logo cast into the front face of the case (facing the fan) centered 1.0" below the bolt hole for the upper alternator brace. [the standard Joe Lucia postscript = not for sale, at least not yet].

Got my 1116368 already; need the even rarer A-6...

..compressor # 5910490 [L76/TI only]. My "368" T.I. Volt. Reg.[in Delco box D-636] is dated 4K (October '64 ?) which is a little tight, considering the strike, for # 01487 [Nov 8th or 9th off the line], but still NCRS-acceptable.
