I did see the judging manual calling for engine paint on the bracket, but I wanted to verify that was still current information. Thanks

Rob,

I painted mine orange on the outside and left it natural on the inside. It passed judging. I concluded that what ever they used to cover the carbs and intake went inside the bracket leaving a small amount of overspray on the intake.
