    Longest Distance Driven Award Question.

    I was fortunate to receive the Longest Distance Driven Award at the 2003 St. Louis meet (1223 miles in a 1982) and receive a Top Flight. However, is this award only for judged cars? Are Sportsman cars eligable? What about Bowtie display cars? I read the manual, but I'm not clear and I was just curious.

      "The award is normally presented to the owner of a car, judged or not, which has been driven the furthest distance to the meet by the owner or a family member. This award is limited to those model years currently judged by NCRS."

      This is a direct quote from the reference manual, if the car is not registered for the event in other words as a judged or sportsman car we may not have anything indicating mileage and it has to be a year currently judged. Which, in January will increase to 1989.

              Wow! 1223 miles to Hershey? You must have gone to the Lyle C. school of driving and navigation!

                  Mike: It wasn't Hershey, it was St. Louis in 1982.

                      Gotcha. The eyes read St. Louis, but the brain equated the 2003 reference to Hershey. That's the problem with single cell organisms.
