I know this sounds stupid, but how do you get the inside door lock know off of a C1? I know there is a clip that fastens it, but I can't figure out where and how you get it off. Thanks.

Re: C1 door lock knob
Kevin - In spite of how confused Mikie is, note that window crank and lock knob do not share the same removal tool - for reasons that totally escape me - the dimensions of the slot are different. Often, with some patience, you can remove the lock knob with a tiny screwdriver or pocket knife. Just need to back out the "C" clip.- Top

Re: C1 door lock knob
I purchased a small set of pick tools. They look like small screwdrivers with very thin shafts and points at different angles and curves. I was able to hook on to the horseshoe clip and remove if with out damaging the side panels.

Re: C1 door lock knob
Just for fun, I cut plastic lids from Folgers coffee cans for at least 2 items. One is screwing with door/lock knobs, the other is dash pads. I use these as shields for insurance that I won't violate the door/dash panel vinyl material. It has turned out to be a no cost insurance program. With one of these lids cut and well placed, you can save save more than the lizard in the Geico ads. DC- Top
