who out there is producing the product and how do i get a hold of them , i heard the name Northern star but am not sure

this may help anyone looking for firewall insulation , the company name is quiet ride and can be found on the web under company name or corvette firewall insulation , i have waited almost a year now for others to provide "C.C "and still no show , the Q,R says they have been in business for 20 years , i have placed the order and glad to at least locate a co , not certain what i will get or how correct , the one ordered is for 68-82 i am certain there will be slight modifications but i hope this helps other members on those lists waiting.

Kelly, if you are looking for original insulation, QR is not what you are looking for. The last I purchased came from Country Corvettes, I believe in Kansas. I have heard that they are out of business. Maybe someone else can fill you in on this.

Thanks d.W , not getting alot of response , yes there is a source out there , just not able to find it, i cancelled an order with C.C that is a year in February, Dr rebuild said 10 days , ordered , turned out to be February, thats how it starts all over again , if there is a supplier , i am unable to find

Country Corvettes in Kansas used to make it, as Dick said. They also used to make the correct 53-55 spring liners. Ordered a set of spring liners through a friend about 2 years ago. It came in a box from "Northern Star". I saved the address somewhere. If you want it, I'll try to dig it up. Let me know. Chuck

Found it. Northern Star Manufacturing Company, 19031 Osage Road, Nortonville, Kansas 66060-4061 Phone 913-886-7531 This might be the successor to Country Corvettes. Worth a phone call. Chuck
