    68 Door locks/Ignition

    Hello all, Are new 68 door locks still available, and if 'yes' from whom?

    Can replacement door locks (if available) be re-keyed so they are same as ignition.

    Someone tried to steal my car and trashed the door and lock in the process.

      Hello Kurt; My friend and neighbor, Pat Kraus might be able to help. He is a locksmith. 68 door locks are very tough to find, but might be able to be repaired. Yes, they can be re-keyed.           Hello Kurt; My friend and neighbor, Pat Kraus might be able to help. He is a locksmith. 68 door locks are very tough to find, but might be able to be repaired. Yes, they can be re-keyed.                       If you find new ones E-mail me I'd like a pair. jc Check Mid America or Eckler's catolog, They have some sets, not sure on the full 68 set though. jc

                              Looked at all the catalogs I have and seems the ones that have locks at all, start with 69 and up but nothing for 68. Will try junkyards next and have them re-keyed if that's all I can find. Would prefer new. Thanks all for your input, Kurt Bunting
