    '67 TI WIRING HARNESS

I'm hooking up the TI wiring in my '67. These are the wires I have to hook up:

    1. black with "u" shaped connector. I believe this goes to the -coil

    2. "L" shaped push on with a pink push on coming off it. The "L" shape

must go to the distributor, and I think the pink wire connects to a one

in the exising harness from the starter solenoid.

    3. thick, cotton white with "u" shaped connector. I believe this goes to +coil
    4. thick, cotton white with push on connector. I believe this hooks to the

pink ignition wire coming through the firewall.

I'm hoping someone can confirm these connections or correct me where I'm wrong
I have the wiring diagram from the tispecialty.com website, and page 349 in Nolan Adams but I'm not doing to well with them.

    Re: '67 TI WIRING HARNESS

The K-66 section of the AIM is pretty clear on what goes where, the white goes to coil+, the Black to coil-, the pink wire from the Switch, usually connected to the resistor is reterminated to connect to the TI harness. The new terminal is a male terminal, so it will connect to the female terminal on the ti harness the second terminal that connects to the other end of the resistor and then back into the engine harness is changed to a female terminal and will connect to the male terminal in the TI harness. If you need examples of what the male and female terminals look like, please email me off the board an I will send you some sketches.

I think my problem is that I am installing a new engine compartment harness. I'll dig out my old, original one and copy the connections. Thanks...
