clock just stopped working

My clock worked perfectly, all of a sudden it stopped. If I reset it it'll run for 15-20 seconds then stop again, any ideas????

Listen for the noise of the winding reset solenoid. You should hear it activate the winding mechanism every 30 seconds or so. If not, two possibilituies, either the points internal to the clock need cleaned, or the points have closed under low battery volatge ans smoked the rewind coil. If you are real comfortable taking the clock apart, take a look, otherwise send it to a qualified rebuilder.
