    RIP John Lingenfelter

    Sorry for the off-topic, but I know there are people on this forum whose backgounds and interests include Chevy performance beyond stock, original configurations. In a book he wrote on building and modifying small blocks, there is a picture of a well known NHRA Super Stock C3 Corvette he raced years ago and, if memory serves, it states it was possibly his favorite race car.

      Was not to long ago I viewed on film the victory of his yellow C5 in competition where his car beat all the others. The competition was before his accident. God bless his family.

          Roger,

          Didn't know that he passed - so sorry to hear. I knew about his accident and then the complicatioins from surgery, etc. When did he pass and what are the arrangements?
