'64 Coupe #4 body mount reinforcement

How do you go about riveting the outer two rivets on the #4 body mount reinforcement. My air hammer will not fit between the reinforcement and the quarter panel. I really don't want to remove the rear quarter panels.

    John,

This one is kinda tough. You may need to resort to a pop rivet.

Can you drive it from the butt side?

BTW, I've seen some lousy factory rivet jobs on my 63, so don't feel bad if it isn't pretty when your done.

if you can't peen and dolly the rivits due to space constraints, pop rivit it , heavily undercoat the area, and then go for it. judges don't spent too much time on body mount areas.mike
