'65 no spark to coil

I've tried everything I could think of... My '65 has no spark to the coil, what do you suggest? I replaced battery, resistor, etc...

Have you checked the distributor for proper function? Is there voltage at the resistor with the key on? (should be present at all times with the key on)

Do you have power at both resistor terminals? At the coil (+) terminal? At the ignition switch 12-ga. red wire terminal (12V from battery) and the ignition switch 18-ga. black/pink wire terminal with the key "on" (12V out to resistor)? Do you have power at the coil (+) terminal while cranking (18-ga. black/pink wire from starter solenoid "R" terminal)?

I did some more checking....and I think the points must have been 'stuck'...I finally got the car started. I had voltage at the resistor with the key on, it was very frustrating.

You ask many good questions. I finally got it started. I think that the points must have been stuck. I haven't worked on this car for years (been in storage for almost ten years) and I'm a little rusty with solving problems!!
