Troubles aside, my friend and I had a good time at Bloomington, I blew $1500.00 on much needed "stuff", and was about to spend the remaining $500.00 but decided not to for "just in case $$$". Anyway, in my original post below, I had a giant pain loading the Blaser on the trailer due to the locked differential. After a lengthy time, I jumped in, started the Blaser, put it gear and proceeded to move forward about a foot, then no more. What I wanted to do was knock off any remaining teeth that would cause the wheels to lock up.
That accomplished, got the trailer loaded, got home after driving all night, stressed & bummed out, I back the trailer in, release the tension on the cable, unhook the chains, and at this point I'm ready to drop from lack of sleep as I've been up more than 30 hrs. and my thought process has ceased to function. The Blaser is unhooked and slack on the cable, and thinking park will hold the car, I start to elevate the trailer. You have to visualize this...as the trailer is raised, the Blaser starts to roll off, I'm panic stricken, so I grab for the winch brake, apply it and the cable snaps, the Blaser now is rolling full speed backwards toward the garage....BAM...to add insult to injury, someone ripped off the trailer's license plate while in Crawfordville, In. It could have been worse, had some State troopers behind me a number of times on way home, but never stopped. If stopped and no plate on the trailer, impound time.
