They always have problems with their phone and website. I ordered a few used "original" parts in the past and got reproduction or replacement instead. Wasn't impressed...however, I think they have a good Carb technician.

I actually asked the same question on the Corvetteforum and got this responce:

      E-mail Al Ferke/Chicago Corvette direct. mztercarb@aol.com

I e-mailed the address and here is the responce:

KELLY YES WE ARE STILL AROUND..OUR NEW 1963/7 CATALOGUE WILL SHIP ON JAN 6TH ANSD OUR 1968-82 SHOULD SHIP A FEW WEEKS AFTER,,.. THANKS ALF @ CHICAGO CORVETTE

Looks like they are still in business but I asked if they had a phone number or a website and have not received an reply back.

This company had a NOS part for sale that I purchased, BUT when the part arrived it was a GM REPRO. Not a good way to do business.

"mztercarb" lists lots of auto related items on eBay, including lots of Corvette stuff. There are currently over 50 items listed, but over 500 in the last 30 days. I didn't realize this was Chicago Corvette.

I'd be happy if he lost a lot more than that.

My last dealings with them was several years ago for a 490 intake for my 67. It arrived in a timely fashion, but, was a piece of junk. It had excessive pitting around the thermostat housing and on the head interface, and had been beaded and painted silver. I sent it back, and good a pristine used one from Cranes covrettes instead.....I did loose the shipping costs both ways....Craig

Bought a pair of "correct" metering rods and jets for my 62 AFB. Were chewed up, and not the right numbers (I have a 62 parts book). Still waiting after 7 months for resolution. No refund--no correct parts.
