Rumor had it while there that the $300,000 conv, however, was of dubious origin, and even a well-known but little-respected dealer knew it as such. Anyone else know more on that one? It had the "original" numbers stamped on the block, but I had thought, based on previous BG Special Collection flyers, that there was only one L-88 with original motor, that being the white conv owned by Burroughs and partner.
Moral of story: Lots of "interesting" cars exist.
