Dealer 189 Zone 9

I'm looking at a car with an original appearing build sheet that was supposed to be delivered new to a Forida dealership. However, the build sheet shows dealer 189 and Zone 9, which the locator shows 189 to be in CA and Zone 9 in Ohio??? Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance. Mark

Mark,

There was a dealer 189 in a lot of zones, not just California. You are looking for dealer 189 in Zone 9. That zone office was located in Norwood Ohio, but by 1994 the zone office was in Cincinnati. Dealers in that zone MAY have been in Kentucky as well as part or all of Ohio. The geographical boundaries of zone 9, and other zones, likely changed over the years.
