Body is on the completed chassis and full weight on the wheels. I have only sugged up the bolts so far. Is it time to tighten/torque the rear spring anchor bolts?

Rob:
If your car is not fully assembled, then don't tighten them yet. After you assemble the interior, add bumpers, windshield, (deck lid and soft top if applicable) and other parts, the car will settle another inch or so. Same goes for the control arm bushing-to-cross shaft bolts.

Re: '67 REAR SPRING ANCHOR BOLTS
Joe,
The only items not installed are the bumpers and hood. I'd like to initially drive the car before installing them. I also haven't tightened the trailing arm pivot bolts and camber adjusting bolts. The rear is sitting a little high now, and I'm hoping it will lower once the suspension has a chance to work. I thought I'd put a couple of sand bags on the rear of the car to approximate the weight of the bumpers and fuel and then torque everything down.- Top

Re: '67 REAR SPRING ANCHOR BOLTS
I was concerned about the rear stabilizer bar, which didn't line up well with the trailing arms before. With the weight on the wheels and the spring compressed and everything tightened it went right into place....Thanks....- Top
