Can anyone give me a ball park value on a '67 Tri-Power set-up that is unrestored and working with May '67 dated carbs? Thanks in advance, Mark

Re: Tri-Power Set-Up Value?
If it's not on Ebay you might be able to buy it for a reasonable price. It depends on the condition of the intake and carbs and what you plan to do with them. If they are for a driver car, you can buy rebuilt kits and freshen them up inexpensively. If the intake hasn't been sand or beadblasted you can clean it up reasonably yourself too. If your plan is to have it all restored, you might want find out the cost of that before making an offer. Anyway, if you can buy it for under $2000 in today's market you did good. Take your time checking it out, as often times worn or broken parts are hard to detect, like throttle shafts, accelerator rod bracket, etc. Look for cracked "ears" at the bolt holes from overtightening. Hope that helps...- Top

Re: Tri-Power Set-Up Value?
Mark - is it a 435 or 400 setup? I know the 400 intakes are getting much harder to come by than the 435's. Seems like even the unrestored setups at Carlisle the asking prices were at least $2k, maybe more, for the 435 setups. I have heard of the 400 manifolds going for at least $1500 alone, without the holleys. If I am wet on these prices, somebody else jump in...just going from what I recall from this years Carlisle....Craig- Top

Re: Tri-Power Set-Up Value?
For whatever reason, 1968 stuff is always a little less money. Here's a 67 on e-bay (link below. I've not seen one go this high (first bid must be $3675). I think this one was up for auction at least one time before.

1968 example - Tri-Power Set-Up
Here's a 1968+ 400 HP - $2850 is farily high (for 1968). The 1968 manifolds sometimes go over $500.
