Need any info on George's Corvette shop which I beleive was located maybe in Ct. or some place on the east coast. He operated in the 60's and 70's and possibly the 80's. Had a 54 Corvette made into a station waggon and also ran a Corvette fuel funny car. I need to contact him if anyone knows him of his where about's. Thanks john

Don't know george but there was a 54 vet that was modified into a sedan delivery and it was a regular drag race participant in central and western maryland in 1961 to63 era. i have a picture of it i took at mason dixon drag strip, hagerstown, md in @ 1962. mike- Top

The fella you refer to is George Reese. He had a paint and body shop located off
Rt 50 Lanham, Maryland area during the 60s thru 80 era. I remember he had a 54 Corvette modified into a station wagon, a copper colored one. You might want to
call Bud Davis, a painter for George at (410) 798 5537. I believe it was Bud
who painted the 54.

I remember George's Corvette Shop, they had a funny car, have been there many times, long ago. There is still a place there called Corvette George's, which looks like it's in the same place...might BE the same business, maybe under a new owner. Call(301)-341-5361. PT- Top
