Several years ago there was a vender in Pa. who dealt mostly in solid axle stuff by the name of R.L.Williams. Anybody know what happened to him? Is he still in business?

Yes, R. L. Williams sold out the business and now known as Grossmueller's Corvettes. Phone 1 908 213-8832.

Roger Williams sold his parts business as mentioned above and retired to Arizona. That was about 4 or 5 years ago. I haven't heard of him since.Comment

I'm very sorry to hear that. He always treated me fairly and I felt he was an asset to the Corvette parts hobby/business. My last contact w/ him was a few years ago when I bought some paper items from him and it seemed he was just starting his retirement in Arizona.Comment

Roger's retirement was due to health problems. I'm not sure of the date but I think it was about a year after he moved West that he died. RichComment

Sorry to hear about his passing
Bought many parts from R.L in 93 - 94 Getting our 53 and 54 ready for flight judging. Was very helpful. Two days before the 94 Spring Fiesta our master cylinder decided to fail and he pulled one from his stock and next day aired it to me for a very reasonable price. It's still on and working (last I checked). In fact I just went through one of his pink catalogues the other day. Eric 3,182Comment
