C2/hrd top/weatherstrip kit

Could I get some recomendations on where to purchase a kit on the hrd top weatherstripping ( don't need the glass seal). I've never installed weather- stripping; is this a job easy enough for the novice and could I run into any surprises when removing the original? Thanks.To All.Have a safe and healthy New Year.

Look at what Corvette Rubber Company has to offer. I used their soft top kit and was very satisfied. Yes this is something you can do yourself. If adhesive is required I'd suggest 3M products. Go to their address below for their online catalog.

I just replaced the weatherstriping on one of mine.

Here's what speeded up my job:

1. Plenty of PB blast to get the screws loose-Unless you prefer to drill them out!

2. A tap - to clean up the threads.

3. Got a new set of stainless steel screws @ the hardware store.

Good luck- let the PB blast soak in for several hours and reapply if neccessary.
